I hope your summer has been fabulous! Living here in the beautiful City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, I am deeply fortunate to be able to live the cottage life while not yet retired. Over the past 2 months we have been entertaining guests of friends and family, pretty much every weekend.
While I do love to entertain, I it does take its toll on you after a while. Eight weeks later and a few pounds heavier (yikes!), I am feeling bloated, achy, and not as energized as I was back in June. My digestive system is not happy at all. I am finding that whatever I eat results in bloating and feelings of heaviness.
With the summer season winding down and Labor Day weekend quickly approaching my thoughts are shifting to making some changes, preparing my body and mind for a Fall detox. I invite you to follow me as I embark on 21 days of cleansing. Throughout my journey I will be sharing with you the “how to’s and what not to’s” including dietary restrictions, supplements, yoga and other helpful tips.
